Big Bold and Beautiful

This class is designed to teach you tricks to make your quilts interesting, as well as beautiful. Join us to create a quilt or wall-hanging featuring a pattern from our new book, Beyond The Block, to be released Spring, 2008, by American Quilters' Society. You will learn the techniques we created for this quilt, including surrounding big squares of bold focus fabric (such as flowers, holiday themes, ethnic fabrics, etc.) with several different blocks of various sizes. You will also learn the secrets of how to make everything fit together beautifully using filler strips in just the right colors—hence the name, Big Bold and Beautiful (the quilt, not us).
