Camp Watcha-Wanna-Do
Serving adolescent cancer survivors in Northeastern Indiana and the surrounding areas, the camp provides recreational opportunities and support for those children, and their families. Camp programs are free to participants and held at YMCA Camp Potawotami, surrounded by woods, meadows, lowlands and Blackman Lake. Each year, AQG takes over 100 quilts for campers to choose on their first day. For more information about the camp, please click here.
Quilts should be 45" x 60" or larger.
Touch Quilts
Touch quilts provide comfort, calming and stimulation for people with late-mid- to late-stage Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. AQG creates touch quilts for the Alzheimer's Association and various care facilities in and around Fort Wayne, Indiana. Dog Beds
Dog Beds and Quilters? Two sure things about quilters – if you quilt you’ll have scraps and secondly, you’re also creative! After you’ve created every possible quilt item, those scraps of fabric and batting find a much-needed and useful destination……. Dog Beds! Currently, AQG members make and donate dog beds, here locally, to Humane Fort Wayne on Lake Avenue and Animal Care and Control.
