Trunk Show

This meeting is on Wednesday July 5th not our customary first Tuesday due to the July 4th holiday. For July’s program, it’s a great pleasure to have Gentry Clark from GRANDMA N ME QUILTIN visit our guild. Gentry and her Grandmother, Viola, own this wonderful quilt shop in Portland, Indiana. She travels extensively to represent the shop, including the AQS Paducah Quilt Show. Besides being a small business entrepreneur, she is also a very accomplished quilter. She will be treating us to a wonderful Trunk Show and also doing some vending of quilting related items.

Presto Avenue Designs

For August's program our featured speaker is Claudia Lash from Presto Avenue Designs. Her lecture for the evening will be “Design Ideas and Tips I’ve Learned”. Claudia is an expert quilter and develops her own line of original design quilt patterns. Fortunately, there is also a daytime workshop – Flower Hugs. This wall hanging features Foundation Paper Piecing and English Paper Piecing.

Meetings are held at Classic Cafe Event Center, 4832 Hillegas Road, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, at 6:30 pm on the first Tuesday of every month. Social time starts at 6:30 PM. Meetings start promptly at 7:00 PM. Meetings conclude with Show and Tell.
